About our products

Our chews are a durable snack worthy of the toughest chewers. The amount of time it takes for a dog to devour the chew depends on several factors such as the size of the pet and chewing habits. The hard texture of the cheese makes it a long lasting dog treat, keeping your pet occupied for hours, even days!

We offer different sizes based on the weight of your dog. We recommend the following options: Small Dog Chew: For dogs up to 15lbs, Medium Dog Chew: For dogs up to 45lbs, Large Dogs Treat: For dogs over 45lbs

Our chews are a healthy alternative to bully sticks and much safer than rawhide. We recommend you start giving our chews when your pet is over 12 weeks of age. We suggest that you consult with your vet before feeding our chews to your pup.

Our chews are smoked using traditional methods, with each chew being arranged on drying racks through the use of our traditional smokers by local farmers. As a result, some chews are darker while others are a bit lighter. The differences in the colour of our chews are due to the location of the chews in relation to the smoke in our local smokehouses. This means the closer the chews to the smoke, the darker the colour, whereas, the further you are, the lighter the chew. As a result, some chews smell smokier than others as well! Given the natural process, the colours of our chews may differ on a batch to batch basis.

While our chews are virtually lactose free, some dogs may be lactose intolerant. Signs of lactose intolerance are acute intestinal distress such as gas, diarrhea. In case your pet is exhibiting these symptoms after consuming dairy products, we strongly advised you to seek medical attention and avoid all dairy products including our  Snow Lion™ chews.

When a small piece is left over from the chew, it can pose a choking hazard for your dog. Simply take the remaining piece and heat it in the microwave for 45-60 seconds, and it should puff up to twice its size. Once it cools, feed it to your dog for a crunchy treat! Always supervise your pet when consuming any treats!

Yes, our dog chews do expire, but have a long shelf life. Most of our chews can last more than 3 years when stored appropriately. All chews should be kept in an airtight package and avoid extreme heat or cold weather. When chews are exposed to too much moisture, they may mold. On the other hand, when stored in too cold of temperatures, the chews can lose moisture and become brittle.
